The swim is a 5 lap long course swim in the beautiful Sailfish Splash Waterpark Olympic pool. It is a "time trial" start so that no one should feel uncomfortable!
The run leg will leave the transition area and run down the east side of the entrance road to the park to the sidewalk on the north side of Ruhnke Street. Turn left on the sidewalk on the north side of Ruhnke Street and run east to SE Aster Lane. Turn right and cross Aster Lane to the sidewalk on the west side of Aster Lane and head south to Indian Street. Turn Right on the sidewalk on Indian Street and head west to the sidewalk on the east side of Willoughby; turn right and go north to the sidewalk on the south side of Ruhnke Street; turn right and go on the sidewalk on the south side of Ruhnke Street passing the turn in to the park and at that point cross Ruhnke Street to the sidewalk on the north side of Ruhnke Street and do 1 more lap as previous. At the end of the second lap, turn on the east side of the park entrance road into the park and follow the outside of the parking area around to the north side of the main pool area and turn south through the Sailfish Waterpark fixed archway that is the finish.
The bike course is changed to make the event so much more enjoyable. It is now a 4 lap clockwise course around south Stuart - south to Indian Street, west to Kanner,north to the High school and through the parking lot, then south on Willoughby Street. Safe and enjoyable so that more people can participate - and more can watch an cheer you on! An 11.2 Mile Course
